“Is there a quiet place to study on campus?”

During the fall semester, the BCM saw the need for its students, and others on the campus to have a quiet place to study as well as a place for groups to gather to work on various projects. To solve this concern, the BCM turned the entire 3rd floor of their building on Cathedral Place to a Study Lounge. Once again the BCM partnered with various area churches and BCM Alumni to prepare the space.

The Study Lounge has been given a fresh coat of paint

and a little “SALT + LIGHT” design; it has been outfitted with comfortable seating, conducive for group activity; coffee bar for student enjoyment ,or the much needed caffeine boost to knock out assignments; as well as technology needs including laptops and a printer, all for student use.

With the library on campus often crowded, the BCM wanted to provide an alternative for students that was cozy and quiet. The BCM would especially like to thank those who have contributed to the transformation of the space for students use. This will be a blessing to current students and those to come!
